Referral Process

• If applicable, successful participation in the Career Experiences course.

• Recommendation of the Individual Education Plan Committee.

Eligibility

Any Exceptional Student desiring paid employment.  

Support Services

• Previous Career Experiences course participation 

• On the job training at businesses in the community

• Transportation training

• Transition Service

• Agency provider support (if eligible)

Curriculum

Based on the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).

Training

Staff may participate in any trainings or professional development activities.  Training includes, but is not limited to:

• Job Coach Orientation Training
• Job Coach Classroom Training 
• Transportation
• Job Site Training
• Disability Awareness Training
• Seizure Recognition and Management Training
• Crisis Prevention Training
